Promoting Steyning Businesses to UK & Overseas Tourists

Steyning and District Business Chamber are partnering with Experience West Sussex and England’s Coast to help local businesses promote themselves and the Steyning District to international visitors.

Experience West Sussex aim to give more publicity to local towns and villages in the West Sussex area and together with England’s Coast initiative, they are creating links, via their website, between accommodation providers and those who offer creative workshops, tours, food & drink providers and events to highlight the many things to do when they stay in small towns such as Steyning.

They will then actively promote these to a wider audience overseas.

To kick things off, we have organised an informal chat session with Jo Williams, from Experience West Sussex, for anyone interested in learning more information, which is being held on Monday 8th July at 6pm at Steyning Cricket Club.

More information on the initiatives can be found at the links below and accommodation providers can also now create a free listing, which will be promoted by England’s Coast to the big accommodation platforms and at tourism events in Europe over the next year.

We know it is a great opportunity for Steyning to ‘been seen’ and get better connected to the rest of the UK and Europe.

We will all get the greatest benefit from it if as many people as possible get involved as Steyning & the wider District will then gain more visitors who will stay longer and give a valuable boost to the local economy.
