Christmas In Steyning

Every year the Steyning & District Business Chamber pays for and organises the Christmas trees and shopping events in Steyning High Street. The 2023 event will take place on Sunday 3rd December from 12pm to 6pm.

The High Street is closed to traffic and stalls, entertainment, street food and a fun fair take over the High Street.

Again, the Chamber organises and raises funds to host this event. A huge amount of money is required to fund insurance, marshalling, first aid cover, street cleaning, hire of traffic signage, hire of amplification equipment, cost of entertainment and marquees and normally fund-raising takes place throughout the year. But the Chamber has been unable to hold any fund raising events during the Covid pandemic and would appreciate any help with the cost of running Christmas In Steyning by donations or sponsorship for the event. 

Almost all of the money raised towards the lights and the Christmas Event is down to the generosity of the High Street traders, High Street residents and Chamber members who organise and attend fund raising events, provide donations, raffle prizes and electricity to power the lights and stalls.

The event is organised by a small group of volunteers and more help is always gratefully received!
